Subdivision and all improvement plat fees are 1.5% of the total estimated cost of the public improvements. Payment of this fee must be remitted prior to the record plat being approved and signed by the City Residential Building Permit Fees Based on Size of Dwelling.

In all instances, the fees shall be paid by the applicant or petitioner at the time of filing. The cost of notifying affected property owners and the cost of advertising the notice of the public hearing shall be paid by the applicant or petitioner in addition to the fees set forth in (a) hereof and prior to the date of the public hearing.
Zoning Code (per copy) - $20.00
Zoning Map (each) - $10.00
Water Tap-in Fee (see schedule below)
The fee for tapping into the municipal water system shall be $2,000 per dwelling unit when located in a A-1, R-1, R-2 or R-3 zoning classification. |

The fee for tapping into the municipal water system for multi-family residential and commercial / industrial structures is based on the size of the meter servicing the structure (see attached chart). Fire lines will not be applicable to these tap-in charges. These tap-in fees shall be paid in full to the city and deposited with our water clerk (Debbie) prior to a building permit being issued. These tap-in fees were effective for all new plan submissions (subdivision or site plan) on or after November 13, 1998.
