The Development Department is responsible for the planning, zoning, building, and economic development functions within the City.  By providing all of these services within one department, we strive to streamline the development process and make it easier for residents, businesses, and developers to access the necessary information for their projects.  In addition to these responsibilities, the Development Department pursues community development grants and similar opportunities.
