E-Neighborhood Watch

Rather than learning to deal with crime and violence, citizens can become proactive. Forming a Neighborhood Watch is a great way to ensure additional security.
Keeping neighborhoods safe and free of crime requires awareness and diligence on the part of area residents. Forming a Neighborhood Watch in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies effectively reduces crime and mobilizes communities to be a part of a larger homeland security effort. This effective practice covers the steps involved in forming and sustaining a Neighborhood Watch program, as well as how to plan and implement action.

We have established a communication with the current and future Neighborhood Watch groups in Monroe called "E-Neighborhood Watch". If you are interested in becoming a member of your Neighborhood Watch and be placed on the email system, contact:

Monroe Police E-Neighborhood Watch was formed as a "cyber" neighborhood watch to supplement our Neighborhood Watch groups.  E-Neighborhood Watch is designed to provide Monroe citizens with an easy way to obtain:

  • Monthly Neighborhood Crime Reports
  • Crime Alerts
  • Resident Surveys
  • Crime Prevention Messages
  • Community Service Messages

Many Monroe residents are busy professionals interested in participating in a neighborhood watch program but are too busy to attend traditional neighborhood watch meetings.  Monroe E-Neighborhood Watch is the answer!
