Dan received his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering in 1997 from Purdue University. Directly out of college he was hired by a consulting engineering firm to design water and wastewater improvements for several local municipalities.  During his five years consulting, he had the opportunity to work for the City of Monroe performing plan reviews and water system design.  Prior to being appointed Director of Public Works in August of 2010, he served as the Acting City Engineer for Hamilton, Ohio where he was employed in their Public Works Department for eight years.  He enjoyed the community of Monroe when he worked here as a consulting engineer and looks forward to serving Monroe in the years to come.
