Kevin Chesar, Director of Development.
Kevin Chesar has served as the City of Monroe Development Director since August 2006. His career has included service to the City of Dayton as a City Planner, various transportation and community planning roles at the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, and experience as the County Recorder of Guernsey County. Kevin manages the Economic Development, Planning, Zoning & Property Maintenance Enforcement, Permitting, Geographic Information Systems, Board support, and Community Improvement Corporation activities. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology as well as Urban & Regional Planning from Miami University; and a Masters of Urban Administration from Wright State University. Kevin is involved with the Ohio Economic Development Association, Ohio Planning Association, and Ohio Kentucky Indiana Regional Council of Governments.
