When is the large item pick up?: Twice a year, as determined by City Council, Rumpke will pick up large items (items that normally would not be picked up on regular trash pick-ups). They are always on a Saturday, and usually happen in the spring and fall. Large item pick-up days will be advertised on the Monroe website, the City of Monroe Facebook page, and in the Monroe Messenger.

1. When is my trash collection day?: Please click here to view a list of trash collection days by street name.

2. What if my trash was missed?: If your trash was missed, please complete the trash and recycling complaint form. This completed form is logged for our records and routed directly to Rumpke to coordinate a pick up. If they are still in the area, they will pick up the missed trash or recycling the same day. If they have left the area, usually they will pick up the missed trash within the next 24 hours with the exception of weekends and/or holidays.

3. How can I get a recycling container?: Rumpke provides the recycling containers free of charge, and there are two different sizes: you may choose a small, red bin with handles (no lid), or a large tote can with wheels and a lid. Please contact Rumpke directly at (513) 742-2900 to request a recycling container.
